Hi. I am going to make your cheesecake recipe. Can I double the recipe or would it not get firm enough to support the extra weight? I’m going to slice it up and serve it with a few of your toppings. So this way there will be a few different options for guests 😊

I’m not sure which cheesecake you were referring to, since you commented on a post about my cookbook. But generally speaking, if you double a cheesecake recipe, you would want to split it between two pans. It would be too much batter for one pan.

    Hi Lindsay,
Wondering why your recipe for Boston Cream Pie’s Grenache is so different from Boston Cream Pie Cupcakes? Seems like only half choc. Chips for full cake?
    Thanks, Deb

They are used differently. The cupcakes use more ganache because you’re piping a decent amount onto each one, where you’re only pouring a thinner layer on the cake. The cupcakes also need a thicker ganache for piping.

Do you have a Cookbook out of all your cheesecakes? I have made several and I love them. I really enjoy making Cheesecakes because they are just gorgeous and soooooo good and people think they are hard to make. Thank you so much.

Tried the vanilla cupcakes, and doubled the recipe. The cupcakes came out great, top nicely flattened, no sinking and the colour was exactly as the photo. I did not get the chance to ice them but my grand daughter and friends enjoyed them. I used some of the mix to make a chocolate cake, only added the cocoa powder the amount used was from one of your chocolate cake recipe, added some mini chocolate chips. This one came out super. Love your recipes, now I do have a go to site. Thanks for sharing.
