Moist and Chewy Banana Oatmeal Cookies

Banana is one of those flavors that can get lost when you bake with it. It can be a really subtle flavor. It always bums me out when that happens, because we love the taste of banana.

These cookies meet the category of being FULL of banana flavor. Just the smell of this cookie dough mixture with the banana in it is intoxicating. And they are so moist and tender, the nearly melt in your mouth. They are perfect for using up overripe bananas and super easy to make. You don’t even need a mixer!

This is one of those old fashioned recipes that everyone loves. It’s originally from my grandmother’s cookbook. Her book is full of newspaper clippings with recipes and the names of those who submitted and shared them with the paper. I just love it. Such a different time in the world. Now we find everything online!

These cookies make the list of banana things to go crazy for. Without a doubt, it’s a tie between them and my Banana Bread Recipe! Or, maybe they are tied with my Banana Cupcakes or Banana Chocolate Chip Layer Cake. Then there’s my Homemade Banana Pudding — I just can’t decide. Banana desserts are just so tempting.

The Best Salted Caramel Cheesecake Cookies

Have you ever tried Crumbl’s incredibly soft, chewy cookies? They are always topped with some sort of gloriously tasty confection that takes them one (or five) steps beyond your average cookie. This salted caramel cheesecake cookie is my take on one of their classics.

The massive chewy graham cracker cookie base is full of graham cracker crumbs and is coated in them, as well. They are also made with some brown sugar for extra flavor and softness. The cheesecake topping is similar to a cream cheese frosting, but with less powdered sugar and no butter. The cookies I had from Crumbl recently just had the cheesecake topping spread on top, but you could also add their signature swirl. I do find that the caramel sauce spreads on and stays in place better when the topping is spread, instead of swirled. Since I love caramel sauce, I advise going with spreading it to allow for more of my amazing salted caramel sauce. The smooth, tangy cheesecake topping, the rich, velvety caramel, and the chewy graham cracker cookie make for the perfect combination of flavors and textures.

Fun Halloween Monster Cookies

It doesn’t get much more fun than these Halloween monster cookies. Kids absolutely love the monster faces! And this recipe starts with my super popular and well-loved sugar cookie recipe, so you know they’re as tasty as they are fun. The classic cookie recipe gets a Halloween glow up with the addition of bright Halloween colors. You can use any colors you like or even mix all 3 colors into each cookie. I really liked the way the purple, orange and green cookies popped on my serving tray. That’s the beauty of this easy recipe — there are so many ways to make the monster cookies your own and customize them however you’d like for Halloween.

I did a mix of cookies with and without the sanding sugar on the outside. I like the way the sanding sugar looks, but I found that the eyeballs and M&Ms stick better without it. The choice to use sanding sugar is all yours. Don’t get me wrong, they stuck to the ones with sanding sugar, just not as well. If you use the sanding sugar, just be sure to press the eyeballs and M&Ms into the cookie a little more.

The best part of these cookies is that they are super soft and chewy. They will retain their amazing texture and taste for days on end. You could eat one of these super fun Halloween cookies 4-5 days after baking them and feel like you just pulled it from the cooling rack. It’s glorious!

The Best Apple Crumb Cake Cookies You’ll Ever Taste!

These gourmet Copycat Crumbl Apple Crumb Cake Cookies will take your breath away. They have the perfect blend of fall flavors in every bite. The ingredients are simple and the combination of chewy cookie, tender apples and spiced streusel is so good.

If you’re looking for a cookie to conjure up the feeling of fall or a way to use up apples from apple picking, these are it. I knew once I tasted them, I had to try and make my own version. And, I think I found the secret ingredient to an amazingly chewy cookie – applesauce!

The applesauce isn’t totally necessary, but highly recommended. I initially tried adding it to see if it would add much flavor to the cookies. While it didn’t add much to the overall apple flavor of the cookie, I fell in love with how the applesauce adds to the chewy cookie texture. If you don’t have applesauce on hand, you could just swap it out for a large egg. Both ways will give you an amazing cookie you’ll be making all Fall.

Decadent Caramel Apple Cookie Cups

Cookie cups are such a great treat. They’re a fun spin on classic cookies that allow you to add more textures, layers and flavors to cookies with ease. All you have to do is spoon your favorite fillings into a deliciously chewy vessel that was just as easy to make as a basic cookie.

And these particular cookie cups are perfect as we move into fall. The cookies themselves are moist and tender, the apples are soft and tender, and the salted caramel sauce is always a hit. The whole thing is spiced with some cinnamon and nutmeg and the final cookie is heavenly. The prefect cross between cookie and pie!

These cookies are great served warm or at room temperature. The caramel will be more melty the warmer they are, which can get messy but is also delicious. Having them closer to room temperature gives a gooey texture without them being too melty.
